Under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, India will play a three-match T20 series against Bangladesh on October 6, 9 and 12. Lucknow Super Giants bowler Mayank Yadav, who bowled over 150 kilometers continuously in the last IPL, got a chance in that team for the first time. He was taken into the team after recovering from injury. Along with this, Nitish Kumar Reddy who played well in IPL, Harshit Rana also got the Indian jersey for the first time. Young cricketers like Ryan Parag have been given an opportunity in the upcoming series to look at the next generation.
The return of KKR spinner Varun Chakraborty to this team is definitely a big event. Last time he got 21 wickets in 15 matches in IPL. It is believed that he has been selected in the team considering the effectiveness of KKR spin at home. On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav has been kept as the captain. However, there is no vice-captain in the Bangladesh series. Shubman Gill was the vice-captain on the tour of Sri Lanka. Note that India will play a Test against New Zealand after the Bangladesh series. Perhaps, Shubman Gill has been rested with that in mind.
